What are CJC-1295 and ipamorelin?

CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are synthetic, or man-made, peptides. Both stimulate the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, but they do it in different ways.

CJC-1295 mimics part of the natural signalling pathway your brain uses (the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) receptor) to tell cells in the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. Some forms are designed to keep acting in the body for longer.

Ipamorelin stimulates the ghrelin receptor (also called the growth hormone secretagogue receptor) on cells in the pituitary. It promotes the release of GH stored in the cells through a separate mechanism from the GHRH receptor.
